Andy Murray’s Cromlix is luxury hotel of year

Cromlix, owned by world number two tennis player Andy Murray, has been named Scotland’s Luxury Hotel of the Year.

Cromlix is situated at Kinbuck, near Murray’s home town of Dunblane.

Balbirnie House in Markinch, Fife, was named Scottish Hotel of the Year.

The 13th annual Scottish Hotel Awards gala dinner was staged at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh on Sunday night, with more than 400 people attending.

Chef Albert Roux received this year’s Fellowship for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry.
