Robertson chosen for Dundee Waterfront role

Robertson has been selected as preferred developer for the £40 million development of apartments, office space and a hotel next to the new V&A Museum in the Dundee Waterfront development.

The development will comprise 67 flats for the private rented sector and 50,000 square feet of Grade A office space, with a 120-bed hotel aimed at the upper end of the market.

“Dundee Waterfront is an exciting and innovative development project so we are naturally delighted to be selected as preferred developer for this exclusive, flagship development,” said Derek Shewan, chief operating officer at Robertson.

“We are looking forward to delivering something the whole of Scotland can be proud of.”

Robertson is a privately owned group of companies that operates throughout the UK, working in infrastructure, support services and construction, directly employing more than 1,700 people.

Its other clients include local authorities, the UK Ministry of Defence, NHS, Tesco, ASDA, M&S, Scottish Natural Heritage, Travelodge, Premier Inn, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Edrington Group, Glasgow Caledonian University and Diageo.
