Tennis world number two Andy Murray — who has just reunited with former coach Ivan Lendl — has made three further investments in British start-up firms via equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs.
Murray has invested undisclosed amounts into Beeline, a smart navigation device and mobile app for bicycles; Dog Tracker Nano, a live tracking device for dogs; and blow LTD, a London-based “Uber for beauty” service that delivers blow dries, makeup and nails to customers’ doors at home or work.
This follows multiple investments Murray made via Seedrs in February.
Murray said: “Giving recognition and support to British entrepreneurs is really important to me, especially those who are the driving force behind growth-focused businesses.
“Every one of these entrepreneurs is passionate and dedicated to succeeding and I’m excited to have invested in their future growth.”
