Edinburgh-based video security company IndigoVision said Pedro Simoes has been confirmed as its chief executive officer and has joined the board as an executive director with immediate effect.
“Pedro, who was initially appointed as the company’s senior vice president – global sales in October 2017 and took over as interim chief executive officer in November, is an experienced global sales leader in the security industry, with over 13 years experience in the sector, and prior to joining the group he spent nearly six years with Avigilon Corporation where he was ultimately responsible for leading its global salesforce and driving revenue worldwide,” said IndigoVision.
On November 24, shares of IndigoVision fell almost 30% after it said Marcus Kneen had resigned from its board and ceased to be chief executive officer with immediate effect after 14 years with the firm — and said the company would make an operating loss for the year.
