Aberdeen-based engineering and oil services giant Wood plc said on Tuesday it has been awarded a contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide “environmental remediation services in support of the U.S. Army Environmental Center’s Army Environmental Cleanup Strategy in Europe.”

“The five-year framework agreement has an aggregate maximum value of $41 million for the multiple awardees and is estimated to reach completion by 202,” said Wood.

Wood said it will provide a wide range of “environmental remediation” services at various known or suspected contaminated sites for the US Army Environmental Command and other Department of Defense customers in Europe.
