Celtic plc announced the appointment of Brian Rose as a new non-executive director with immediate effect.
Celtic said Rose, 52, is currently a Director of Apple Services in London.
“Brian has worked in the entertainment and content industry for over two decades, including roles at market leading music and film companies,” said Celtic.
“During this period, Brian was managing director of commercial from 2003 to 2016 for Universal Music.
“Throughout this time, Brian has been at the forefront of the development of new digital content strategies leading to improved customer experiences and growth for rights holders and creators.”
Celtic chairman Peter Lawwell said: “We are delighted to bring Brian onto Celtic’s Board of Directors and we believe his knowledge and experience will be invaluable to us as we continue to drive the club forward.
“Brian has extensive digital and commercial experience within leading organisations and we look forward to drawing on Brian’s talent in these areas to add real benefit to the club and our supporters.”
