Edinburgh-based Aegon Asset Management has announced the return of Neil Goddin to the business in a new role as head of equities and multi-asset, effective immediately.
Aegon Asset Management has about £270 billion of assets under management. It also has a London operation.
“We believe that Neil’s experience managing both global and responsible investment portfolios make him an ideal candidate for the role along with his eight years’ experience managing Aegon AM portfolios up until 2020,” said Aegon Asset Management.
“Philip Haworth, current head of equities at Aegon Asset Management, has decided to leave the business.
“Philip has worked at Aegon AM since 1995 and we would like to thank him for his contribution to the team over this time and wish him all the best for the future.”
Goddin worked for eight years at Edinburgh-based Kames Capital, which became part of Aegon Asset Management.
