Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) announced the appointment of Phil Reid as Head of Sales, a newly created role.
Royal London Asset Management manages £169 billion of assets. It invests in all major asset classes including UK and overseas equities, government bonds, investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, property and cash.
Reporting into Chief Client Officer, Ed Venner, Reid will oversee both wholesale and institutional sales in the UK and internationally.
The Royal London group employs roughly 1,000 in Scotland and includes the former Scottish Life and Scottish Provident businesses.

Reid joined Royal London Asset Management in 2016 as Head of Wholesale, having previously spent a decade at HSBC Global Asset Management. He has over 20 years of industry experience.
