Glasgow media firm STV Group plc has announced board changes.

“Following the announcement on 30 August 2024 regarding Simon Miller’s intention to step down from the Board after a tenure of eight years, effective from 11 December 2024 he has resigned from the Board as Senior Independent Director and Employee Director,” said STV.

“Colin Jones, Independent Non-Executive Director, has immediately succeeded Mr Miller as Senior Independent Director and will continue as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee. Mr Jones has also been appointed on 11 December 2024 as a member of the Nomination Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

“David Bergg, Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the ESG Committee, has immediately succeeded Mr Miller as Employee Director.

“Rufus Radcliffe, Chief Executive, has been appointed on 11 December 2024 as a member of the ESG Committee.”

STV Group chairman Paul Reynolds said: “We would like to thank Simon for his commitment and outstanding contribution over the past 8 years. Simon provided invaluable support as Senior Independent Director and as the voice of our colleagues as Employee Director in the boardroom.
