SFE said Capco’s Roland Inglis and Santander UK’s Andrew Wilson were selected following a competitive process “and bring extensive experience in industry and across Scottish public life to the SFE board.”

Inglis and his team advise a range of leading financial services firms to deliver and execute on both business and technology change, with recent growth across data, technology and AI. Prior to Capco, Inglis worked on delivering business and technology change at RBS.

Andrew Wilson is Director of Communications, Marketing and Responsible Banking at Santander UK plc. He joined Santander in 2023 from PR firm Charlotte Street Partners where he was founding partner, and his previous roles include deputy chief economist and head of group communications at RBS and member of the Scottish parliament.

SFE chair Sue Dawe: “Andrew and Roland bring a wealth of experience to the SFE board and both are long-standing and well-respected champions of our industry in Scotland and beyond. They will bring significant new capability to our board and I look forward to working with them as we continue to strengthen SFE and deliver our sector growth strategy.

“We are keen to ensure that our board reflects the strength, expertise and diversity of our whole industry and I am confident we have the range of individuals and skills that will enable us to continue to deliver on our strategy.”
