“Abrdn Asia Focus offers a unique portfolio of high-quality, fast-growing, businesses that are not represented in mainstream funds with uncorrelated returns and good diversification.”

Abrdn Asia Focus chair Krishna Shanmuganathan said: “I would like to thank Flavia for all her support for the Company over many years, particularly in building such a deep pool of talent in Asia with our Manager now employing 40 investment professionals across 6 countries in the region – the success of which is amply demonstrated by the performance of the Company.

“We all wish her well for her very well-deserved retirement.

“In the hands of Gabriel and Xin-Yao, the Board believes that the Company is well placed to continue to deliver such long-term value for its shareholders.”
