Calnex of Linlithgow courts investors and analysts

Calnex CEO Tommy Cook

Linlithgow-based Calnex Solutions plc hosted a Capital Markets Day for institutional investors and analysts on Wednesday.

Calnex is a provider of test and measurement solutions for global telecommunications, digital infrastructure and government & defence markets.

Calnex CEO Tommy Cook and CFO Ashleigh Greenan were joined by Head of Products Adam Paterson, VP of Marketing and Products Peter White and Graeme Urquhart, VP of Sales, for the event.

“Presentations will cover the opportunity within timing solutions, the growing need for resilience across network infrastructure, why AI is shaping Data Centre and Cloud Computing infrastructure, and Calnex’s route to market,” said the Linlithgow firm.

“The company’s trading performance in FY27 remains in line with market expectations, and no update on trading will be provided during the meeting.”

Last week, Calnex said in an AGM trading statement its “continued diversification across digital infrastructure and government & defence is driving growth.”

Calnex said a recently secured digital infrastructure business win with a major US financial institution reinforced the benefits of the diversification strategy.

Calnex is one of the few Scottish firms to go public via the London Stock Exchange in the last 10 years.

The Linlithgow firm went public at around 48p per share in October 2020 and its shares soared as high as £1.95 in January 2023. However, its shares currently trade around 59p, giving it a stock market value on AIM of about £52 million.
