IWP buys Kilmarnock IFA Gilmour Hamilton

London-based Independent Wealth Planners UK (IWP UK) said on Wednesday it acquired Kilmarnock-based financial planning firm Gilmour Hamilton Wealth Management (GHWM), boosting the company’s existing presence Scotland.

Gilmour Hamilton Wealth Management will join IWP’s “regional” hub, AGL Wealth Management.

John Roberts, partner at GHWM, will continue to head up the Kilmarnock office.
