Standard Life said it has completed the transition of the Scottish Leather Group pension arrangement, with its members joining Standard Life’s contract based Group Flexible Retirement Plan.
Bridge of Weir-based Scottish Leather Group is a manufacturer of sustainable leather solutions, supplying a range of global industries including aviation, automotive, rail and luxury goods.
Scottish Leather Group’s customers and clients have included Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, McLaren, Jaguar Land Rover, Lucid Motors, British Airways, Singapore Airlines and Emirates.
“Working with Broadstone as its adviser, Scottish Leather Group sought a workplace pension provider that could combine strong governance, member support and digital capabilities, while providing a seamless transition for employees,” said Standard Life.
“The appointment followed a competitive tender process, which included a visit from the Standard Life team to Scottish Leather Group’s headquarters in Renfrewshire.
“To support the transition, a dedicated employer microsite and a programme of member communications were delivered. The successful completion of two Direct Offer Transfer Value exercises also helped members consolidate their retirement savings and engage more effectively with their pensions.”
