Beeks of Glasgow reports first-quarter momentum

Glasgow-based Beeks Financial Cloud Group plc, a connectivity provider for financial markets, on Monday published an update on first-quarter “commercial momentum and forthcoming product launches” alongside its results for the year ended June 30, 2026.

In the quarterly update, Beeks reported a strategic minority investment in OmniPhi to deliver its AI trading technology on Beeks infrastructure.

In the annual results Beeks’ CEO said FY26 has been a year “defined by another record financial performance alongside two significant strategic milestones.”

On its first quarter, Beeks said: “Beeks secured c.$4m of Exchange Cloud contract extensions in Q1 FY27, reflecting growing demand from existing customers and continued delivery of its land and expand strategy.

“This is in addition to the previously announced Stock Exchange of Thailand win in Q1 FY27, bringing the total number of Exchange Cloud customers to eight …

“The company is preparing to launch two new offerings in Q3 FY27, broadening its addressable market and creating further opportunities to grow customer relationships …

“Beeks has made a strategic minority investment in OmniPhi and partnered with the business to deliver its AI trading technology on Beeks infrastructure.

“Deployed in colocation facilities or on customers’ premises, the offering will enable financial institutions to adopt AI while retaining control of sensitive market data and trading strategies.

“For Beeks, this creates an additional opportunity to supply the specialist infrastructure supporting AI adoption, increasing potential spend from existing customers and providing a further route to win new financial institutions.

The Group continues to progress a strong pipeline across Private Cloud, Proximity Cloud, Exchange Cloud and Market Edge Intelligence, with opportunities to secure new customers and expand existing relationships.”

Beeks CEO Gordon McArthur said: “We have made a strong start to FY27, in what is typically our quietest quarter, with around $4m of Exchange Cloud extensions showing how much scope there is to grow within the existing customer base across our offerings, alongside a continued pipeline of new customer opportunities.

“We are not standing still on product development, and our ongoing commitment to innovation continues to drive major pipeline expansion. Our network launch and partnership with OmniPhi directly address needs we see in our conversations with financial institutions, and give us more ways to win new business.

“There is a lot for us to go after, with a strong pipeline across our offerings. Our focus is firmly on execution: turning that demand into signed contracts, growing our recurring revenue base and making the most of the investment we have put into our technology and infrastructure.”

On its results for the year ended June 30, 2026, Beeks confirmed its revenues rose 11% to £40 million and underlying profit before tax increased 15% to £6.3 million.

CEO McArthur said of the annual results: “FY26 has been a year defined by another record financial performance alongside two significant strategic milestones.

“We successfully launched and commercialised Market Edge Intelligence, securing three new contract wins within months of launch and validating the scale of the opportunity for AI-powered analytics in financial markets.

“At the same time, we demonstrated the value of our Exchange Cloud revenue-share model, with both Kraken and ASX achieving monthly profitability during the year.

“Across the group, we secured significant wins with leading exchanges, banks and financial institutions, increased ACMRR and further strengthened the visibility of our recurring revenue base.

“These achievements reflect the growing quality of our customer relationships, the strength of our technology and our ability to translate innovation into commercial success.”

“Our focus for FY27 remains on commercial execution: converting the pipeline, increasing participation across live Exchange Cloud deployments, expanding within our existing customer base, and building on the early success of Market Edge Intelligence and further product innovation through the forthcoming launch of the Beeks Global Network.

“With a broader proposition, increasing revenue visibility and a significant market opportunity ahead of us, we remain confident in delivering continued growth.”
