Aliter Capital LL, the private equity investor in the UK business services sector with offices in Glasgow and London, has completed fundraising for a new £50 million Annex Fund.
The new fund will support the further growth of two of its established technology platforms — TXP and Serbus.
TXP (Technology x People) is a systems integrator focused on technology consulting, development and resourcing and Serbus delivers specialist, secure Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) networking and communications solutions.
Aliter first invested in both businesses in 2022, then supported three further add-on acquisitions at each company and their rebranding as TXP and Serbus in 2025 and 2026 respectively.
Sitting alongside Aliter’s existing £134 million fund, Aliter Capital II, launched in 2022, the new £50 million Annex Fund has been backed exclusively by existing institutional investors.
Aliter partner Greig Brown said: “In establishing the Annex Fund, we very much welcome the strong support shown by the existing Aliter Capital II investors participating in the Annex Fund.
“TXP and Serbus have great management teams, with a clarity of vision and exciting plans for future growth. We look forward to extending our close working relationship with them and the new funds will facilitate a wider range of strategic add-on acquisitions.”
Serbus provides secure communications infrastructure to the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure with a critical differentiator of “security DNA” built on the standards of the UK Special Forces, UK Government, Emergency Services and National Healthcare.
Serbus Group CEO Simon Fieldhouse said: “As threats to the UK’s critical national infrastructure continue to evolve, Serbus is building a sovereign, market leading group with security in its DNA. Through targeted acquisitions and investment, we are strengthening our ability to connect and protect the nation’s most critical services and infrastructure.”
TXP is a digital transformation business, delivering consulting, development and technology resourcing solutions across the public and private sectors, providing legacy modernisation, digital transformation, data and AI services, cloud services, custom software development and IT resource augmentation.
TXP CEO John Antunes said: “We’re delighted to have the continued backing of Aliter and its investors as we enter the next phase of TXP’s growth.
“It gives us further firepower to accelerate our buy-and-build ambitions, broaden our capabilities and continue building a differentiated technology business that delivers greater value for our clients.”
